I’m confused

Level meters

Hello, I was so excited to get the new MPC 2 software. Unfortunately there is one thing that bothers me a lot. The meters in the mixer view are not displaying numbers as most DAW software. Even the old version MPC 1.9 was displaying the digits under the level meters. Do you think those meters were useful or I am the only one who misses them and how to gather enough people to get AKAI to add these little digits back under the mixer sliders. Or should I go back to MPC 1.9(would also appreciate any help on how to go back to 1.9). Honestly I am not fully satisfied with MPC 2. If you cant remember what meters I am talking about, its here under on the attached screenshot.
Thanks for the feedback!

  • Hey Georgi,

    Thanks for posting!

I'm not sure why that readout didn't make it to the MPC 2 Software. Of course I can understand how that would be useful when comparing different tracks in a mix. Be sure to submit this as a feature request with the MPC 2 Software's built-in feedback module. The feedback module is represented by a smiley icon at the lower right side of the software next to the browser icons. This information goes directly to the Akai team for consideration!

If you need an alternative method of submitting feedback, you may use the following links:

MPC - Submit a Feature Request

MPC - Submit a Bug Report

You can download legacy versions of MPC from the following link. Just keep in mind that you will need MPC hardware like the MPC Renaissance or MPC Studio in order to unlock the software as this version of MPC did not use iLok software for licensing:
